Visit the Laboratory of Michael Lipscomb. The Lipscomb laboratory studies the immunoregulatory network that governs immune cell plasticity and diversity, with a particular focus in delineating the differentiation and function of antigen-presenting myeloid cells and their causative role in directing T cell responses.

Anna Allen Laboratory
The Allen Lab started in 2012 in the Department of Biology at Howard University. The goal of our lab is to study the mechanisms by which a high quality gamete (the egg) is generated and how that gamete then undergoes one of the most fascinating processes in development, fertilization. We use the nematode C. elegans as a model system to study oocyte meiotic maturation, meiotic cell cycle regulation, fertilization and early embryonic development.
